Hello and welcome to my Substack!

My name is Maddie, and this is a place where I will share tales of adventures past and of my current experiences. I grew up in the foothills of the Tennessee Cumberlands, spent a year living aboard our powerboat with my family during the peak of Covid, and I am currently outfitting my sweet sailboat called Felicity for blue water passages while sailing the Great Lakes out of Holland, Michigan. When I am not spending time on Felicity, I am crewing aboard a sailing catamaran on Lake Huron. In June of 2025, I’ll take Felicity across the Atlantic from the US to Northern Ireland where I will continue to share my journey and the stories of the places and people who I encounter.
